Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers comfortable rooms but lacks small details like towel hooks. The service is top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff. The location is fantastic, centrally located and within walking distance to attractions. The dining experience meets most needs. However, some facilities could be improved.
My stay at the hotel was lovely. The rooms were super cozy and exactly what we booked, very comfortable and had a lively bar on a Saturday night. It was a nice touch to see a dog bed and food bowl, making it feel extra welcoming. However, the view out of the room looked out into a space between tall buildings with little to no natural light.
Staying at this hotel felt like being at home with lovely rooms and great views, but the tiny bricked-in balcony was a disappointment. The breakfast had limited choices, and the timing was off for a morning meal. However, the record albums added a unique touch to the stay.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the location was very convenient for exploring the city. However, the rooms were a bit small and lacked some basic amenities like free tea and coffee. The dining experience was pleasant with options that met most dietary needs.
Staying at this hotel felt more like being at home than at a typical chain hotel. The rooms could use a coffee machine and hooks for towels, even if they are on the smaller side. The location is quite central and convenient, though not the absolute best. The combined dining room and library offer pleasant dining options that cater to most dietary needs.
Although the room was lovely, it was way too tiny for 3 people. The view looked out into a space between tall buildings, offering little to no natural light. However, the service was amazing from the front desk to the cafe/bar and housekeeping. The location was convenient for exploring the surrounding suburbs and the CBD but suffered noise disturbances like jackhammering. The dining experience was pleasant with excellent service in the combined dining room and library.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of cozy comfort and some disappointments. The rooms were super cozy and heavenly quiet, making it a peaceful experience. However, the lack of certain amenities like free tea and coffee was a letdown. The tiny and bricked-in balcony took away from any potential views, and the limited breakfast options were not appealing, especially with no one else joining for breakfast at 7 am.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were comfortable and came with an awesome mini-bar, but I did find some hair on the bathroom floor from previous guests, which was a bit off-putting. The staff were the friendliest and most effective I've ever encountered, providing top-notch service. The location was convenient, although there were some undesirable aspects like dirtiness and crowding. The dining experience was pleasant but nothing extraordinary. Overall, it was a decent stay with some room for improvement.
